Continuous Walling

Continuous walling is used predominantly where the client wishes to maximise the internal floor area or in instances where cladding cannot incorporate horizontal deflection joints at each floor level.

Normally constructed on the exterior of the building, continuous walling means that the steel framing system (SFS) is designed to oversail the structure.

The SFS is supported at the base of the primary structure by either the concrete slab or ledger angles and cleats are fixed to accommodate deflection.

Our in-house design and structural engineering teams work as an integral part of your business to deliver the most comprehensive and cost effective design solutions.  Stud walls up to 10m high can be  offered in a variety of vertical stud and track sizes up to 250mm and in gauges from 1.2 to 2mm thick allowing us to tailor our sections to meet your exact project requirements.

EOS sections self-align creating tight tolerances and therefore ensuring that dimensional parameters are achieved without the need for complex jigging or clamping. Our entire section range provides the unique swaging technology and dimpling characteristics as standard. This allows wall boarding or cladding systems to be presented with completely flush faces, negating any requirement for packers and shims.
