CPD Site Study Tours

In addition to our Factory Tours, EOS also run annual combined technical CPD’s and Site Study Tours. For these events, we invite a select group of construction professionals to join our teams from EOS Facades and Etex Building Performance together with our project delivery partners  for a unique CPD and Offsite seminar at a nearby hotel  – followed by a Site Study Tour of one of our most prestigious project developments.

To provide a deeper insight in to the design, manufacture, installation and project management processes – representatives from EOS, now part of Etex Building Performance – will be supported by group technical representatives from Etex and Siniat. We  are also joined by leading offsite experts Cogent Consulting who work closely with architects, engineers and contractors to give an overview of the offsite sector.

The seminar and CPD programme will share insights into: Acoustics, Thermal, Fire Performance and Building Regulation Changes (following the recommendations detailed in the Hackitt Review). Delegates will also receive a full suite of our technical documents including our Installation Guide, Site Pocket Guide and Case Studies Compendium.

Following the CPD, delegates will be transported to site where you will be guided around the development by the project delivery team. Return transport will be provided back to the hotel, where you can speak with the team on a one-to-one basis before departing.

The 2019 Site Study Tour will take place on 12 September in London. To register your interest, please email hannah.jones@radar-communications.co.uk

Our 2018 Site Study Tour – Ram Quarter

The Ram Quarter project is transforming the former Young’s Brewery site – including the restoration of historic Grade II* buildings – all being sensitively restored to provide accommodation for boutiques, restaurants, a craft-brewery, a brewery museum and above these – 661 new exclusive loft style apartments.

As specialists in bespoke solutions for the Steel Framing Systems (SFS) and offsite markets, EOS have designed, manufactured and supplied a range of steel framing systems for the project. From standard to complex bespoke infill solutions, right through to detail load bearing systems and the facade elements for the new high-rise residential blocks, spanning up to nine floors.
