EOS offer an unparalleled level of support from a dedicated team of professionals which includes:
> Detailed section and elevation drawings for all the areas which require EOS steel on your project.
> All of the drawings will be passed through your approval procedures – offering total confidence that work can start onsite safe in the knowledge that all the drawings have been approved by the Architect and Structural Engineering Team.
> Fully detailed structural calculations in accordance with EN 1090-1 and BS EN ISO 9001:2008 that have been certified by EOS’ Structural Engineering Team.
> These calculations will be presented and agreed with your Engineer prior to commencement onsite.
The structural calculations will cover all aspects of load bearing buildings, stud & track, wall framing sections, flooring, roofing, structural openings, fixing design & specification, bracket & cleat design and specification.
Elementary Design Service (Stud & Track Schemes Only)
Our elementary design service includes:
> Review of architects & structural engineers drawings
> Undertaking of a desktop appraisal of the scheme and advice on suitable sections using the EOS Standard Structural Calculation for stud & track
> Providing two drawings of the typical sections and associated connection details for the scheme
A summary of the structural design calculations will be provided once we have received an order. These will be in the form of two detailed panel drawings showing the stud design based on wind loadings, the opening design that covers the general construction detail, details of the fixing design and the approved fixing type required to secure the panels to the primary structure.
